Save The Snakes Grants Program

€1150

donated by Herpetofauna

Save The Snakes and the Herpetofauna Foundation have had close contact and collaboration since its establishment. The chairman of the Herpetofauna Foundation currently has a seat on the advisory board of Save The Snakes.

Like Herpetofauna, Save The Snakes is committed to the preservation of snakes and their environment. They do this by offering education as well as financially supporting projects.

One way to bring education is through symposiums and conferences. Save The Snakes organizes the 'Venomous Herpetology Symposium' in collaboration with The Rattlesnake Conservancy. Additionally, there are plans for Save the Snaked and the Herpetofauna Foundation to organize a collaborative conference.

Save The Snakes has created the 'grants program' to help carefully select which projects to aid financially. Young scientists and conservation projects can apply for this grant, after which three projects are awarded $1000. The Herpetofauna Foundation has contributed to the grant money.
