For many years the king cobra is under threat of habitat loss. Many of its natural behaviour is still unknown to science.

The project will try to better understand their breeding behaviour as well as their migratory patterns.

Breeding them and re- introducing them into their habitat as well as the protection of the forests they live in is the key is these programs.

The programs that will hopefully secure the live of the largest living venomous snake lies in the hands of the Indian government and the help of scientists like Romulus Whitaker and Matt Goode.
