KCC (King Cobra Conservancy)

donated by Herpetofauna

The king cobra (Ophiophagus hannah) belongs to the “big 6” of the Herpetofauna Foundation. We are actively involved in various projects in different regions. This to preserve this iconic snake species for the future, especially given the growing problems that this snake faces.

Given the important role of the king cobra the King Cobra Conservancy has been established. They focus solely on this species. The KCC houses the biggest international experts working on this snake species.

We are proud to say that the Herpetofauna Foundation is closely involved in this organization and our chairman is also a member of the board of directors of the KCC. In this way we can exchange knowledge and strengthen collaborations to offer these beautiful animals a bright future.
