Formerly known as Bio-Ken, East African Venom Supplies is a research and education center in Watamu, Kenya, with a mission to save both humans and snakes. Their vision is to create a world where humans can coexist safely with all reptiles.

EAVS has the largest collection of snakes in East Africa and milks highly venomous snakes such as mambas and cobras. Their venom is made into antivenom to save victims of venomous snake bites. The EAVS also provides information and training how to treat victims of snake bites. Specialized snake catchers can capture venomous snakes that live close to humans and re-house the snakes where they no longer pose a threat to the Kenyan population. In addition, the various snakes can also be viewed by visitors at the Watamu Reptile Center.

The Herpetofauna Foundation supports EAVS in their research and production and distribution of antivenom to save both snakes and humans during encounters.
